Easy and energy-saving starting thanks to an additional spring between the crankshaft and starter rope pulley. A calm, even train is enough to start reliably. Standard on all models with the designation C-E.
STIHL 2-MIX-Motor
The STIHL two-stroke engine with 2-MIX technology ensures high performance, plenty of pulling power and saves up to 20% fuel compared to STIHL two-stroke engines of the same performance without 2-MIX technology. It combines a four-channel cylinder with a flushing template. Exhaust emissions are also reduced by up to 70%.
Side-mounted chain tensioning Side-mounted chain tensioning makes it easy to tension the chain safely.
Tool free fuel caps Special caps to open and close the tank cap quickly, easily and without tools.
Multi-function control handle This houses all the engine controls. Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator's hand never leaves the handle.
Manual fuel pump (Purger Bulb) A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
Goggles It is important to protect your eyes from flying particles and harmful UV radiation. Therefore a pair of safety goggles/glasses are supplied with the the machine. Note: Additional face protection must be worn when working with brushcutters!
